When is the best time to contact Powers Estate Sales?

The best time to call Powers Estate Sales is when you have a need to liquidate the contents of a home or business due to: Senior Transitions, Downsizing, Divorcing, Moving, Relocation, Blending of families.

How does Powers Estate Sales charge for their services?

Powers Estate Sales works on a sliding scale, which varies depending on the value of the sale.  The final cost for services will be determined and discussed after we do the initial walk through of the home and evaluate the scope of the sale.  Typically we work on a 60/40 split.

How are the goods priced?

Pricing for goods is taken into consideration and set based on best selling practices.  Once pricing has been established, typically the goods will be sold at full value on the first day of the sale, 25% discount on the 2nd day and 50% discount on the 3rd day.  

Will I have input on pricing the goods?

This is one of the most sensitive areas and we welcome your input.  Powers Estate Sales is equipped to evaluate and price goods to ensure successful sale.

Do you provide cleaning services?

Light sweep out and light trash removal is included in our services.  We do offer other services such as clearing out the home, trash and junk removal, boxing up remaining items and more.  We are happy to discuss any needs you may have and estimates can be provided upon request.

When will I receive payment for items sold?

A complete accounting and payout will be processed 3 business days from completion of the sale.  If other services are required this timeframe may be adjusted.

Is advertising and signage included in your price?

Yes, we provide online advertising, post picutures of many of the items that will be available at your sale, utilize social media, email to our extensive email list of qualified buyers and place professional signage during the sale.

Do you accept checks?

No, we do not accept checks, however we do accept cash, credit cards, cash app, paypal and venmo.  

What happens to the things that are left over after the sale? 

We will discuss the options with you during our consultation.  We can handle assisting you in any way you want to move forward whether it is boxing everything up and working with movers,  placing in storage, donating to charity or handling on your own.  Prices will vary depending on the option you choose.

I have a few pieces I'd like to sell - Will Powers Estate Sales do that for me? 

Our expertise is conducting a full service turnkey estate sale.  We would suggest you take your pieces to a consignment store, post for sale on ebay, the marketplace or various local facbook yardsale sites.
